Lifetime’s much-talked-about Aaliyah: Princess of R&B biopic airs next week & we have your first look at actress Elise Neal in her role as the legendary Gladys Knight in the film.
Gladys was instrumental to Aaliyah’s career from a young age as she was Aaliyah’s aunt by marriage. She was married to Aaliyah’s uncle Barry Hankerson who managed Aaliyah’s career.
This is probably the one casting choice in this movie that everyone’s okay with.
