After a highly successful year that included four hit singles (three of which peaked in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100) and history being made on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart, Fetty Wap’s self-titled debut studio album has landed at number one on the Billboard 200.

In its first week of release, Fetty Wap earned 129,000 equivalent album units (75,000 in pure album sales) to nab the number one spot.

Even more impressive, Fetty Wap is the first rap artist in more than two years to have his or her debut album hit number one on the Billboard 200.

Drake and Future’s What a Time to Be Alive, which debuted at number one last week with 375,000 equivalent album units, will have to settle for the number two spot this week.

Congratulations, Fetty Wap!
