The door might still be open for NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey to rekindle their friendship this season on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta.’
After ending last season at odds, sources exclusively tell lovebscott.com that NeNe extended an olive branch to Cynthia and congratulated her on the opening of the Bailey Wine Bar.
While missed the grand opening ceremony (and Mike Hill’s surprise proposal), NeNe did send a handwritten note along with several platters of wine-friendly food like meats, cheeses, crackers, olives and chocolate.
The note read as follows:
“Never in my wildest dreams did i ever imagine that we would be in this place. I’ve always been a supportive friend towards you and this time won’t be any different. I’m proud of you and cheering for you from afar! I hope you continue to have the courage to run after your dreams! Congratulations on the opening of your new business. I’m sure it will be a success.”
We’re told that the note brought Cynthia to tears and her emotional reaction was captured by the RHOA cameras.
It’s a good start, and we’ll be watching to see if these ladies are able to repair their friendship to what it once was.
