We were excited to hear that La La Anthony joined Taraji P. Henson and the cast of the upcoming film ‘What Men Want,’ but a source exclusively tells lovebscott.com that La La was fired before she could even announce her part!
It’s unclear what led to her firing, but according to our source her role has already been recast and Tamala Jones has been selected as La La’s replacement.
‘What Men Want’ is based on the 2000 romantic comedy, ‘What Women Want.’
The original film starred Mel Gibson as a marketing exec who suddenly has the ability to hear what women are thinking after a freak accident.
In this remake, produced by Will Packer and James Lopez, the roles are reversed. Taraji P. Henson plays a sports agent who has been constantly boxed out by her male colleagues. When she gains the power to hear men’s thoughts, she is able to shift the paradigm to her advantage as she races to sign the NBA’s next superstar.
‘What Men Want’ is due out in theaters early 2019.
