There are two new potential peaches onboard for ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ for season 13.
While it’s not her first time at the RHOA rodeo, sources have confirmed to lovebscott.com that actress Drew Sidora is finally getting a peach.
In addition, Canadian YouTube star Latoya Ali, aka LaToyaForever, is set to get a peach of her own this season after things didn’t quite work out last year. If you keep up with Kandi Burruss, you already know LaToya is one of her good girlfriends.
According to our sources, there’s been a bit of a hold up with LaToya’s estranged husband (Adam Ali) not wanting certain things filmed. Last month, they announced they’ve ended their marriage. In the event they’re not able to work through whatever hold-up they’re having (whether it be for him to film or not wanting her to show the kids), the backup plan is for LaToya to be a friend of the show.
Why these two ladies? Well, show executives want ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ to start “trending younger.”
And yes — NeNe Leakes is still fired for allegedly continuing the same behavior she exhibited last season. While Kandi Burruss confirmed the “core four” have begun filming — that’s Kandi, Kenya, Cynthia and Porsha — NeNe has taken to social media to share a different story.
“If I told you the way I was treated, you would not believe it. Same with Tamar,” NeNe told her followers during an Instagram Live session on Saturday, July 18.
“I’d love to say more but I’m afraid it won’t be received well then I won’t get the support I need,” she added.
“I have remained quiet. I haven’t said anything on it but it’s coming. I will be speaking. I have the right people to speak. Wait for it.”
We can say that NeNe is still fired for all intents and purposes. We hear, allegedly, she’s planning to announce her departure and make public allegations against True Entertainment and Bravo for racial discrimination.
As far as the ‘conversations’ her rep alleged she’s been having with the network — the only way NeNe is allegedly returning to RHOA is if she accepts Bravo’s verbal offer to appear as less than a friend of the show to say her goodbyes to the girls.
This isn’t new territory for Bravo — Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge of ‘RHOC’ were given the same treatment.
Like those ladies, NeNe’s behavior both on camera and off rubbed too many people the wrong way (hence her previous suspension). Meanwhile, former ‘RHOBH’ OG Lisa Vanderpump is getting random spinoffs about…her dogs.
