Erika Jayne Asked to Stop Selling Clothes Amid Estranged Husband Tom Girardi’s Asset Freeze

Erika Jayne is going through a rough time in court — both with her divorce and husband-related lawsuits.

Now, law firm representing the victims of the Lion Air crash in a class-action lawsuit against Tom Girardi has requested that a judge order Erika to stop selling her clothes online.

In legal documents filed by Edelson PC on Friday and seen by Page Six, the firm notes that as Girardi’s assets have been frozen, the freeze should extend to the star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” as well, as 81-year-old Girardi may have purchased the clothes for her.

Although Girardi and Jayne, 49, have begun divorce proceedings, the couple remain beholden to California’s communal property laws, so anything that the reality star owns is also owned by her estranged husband.

“Simply put: the Court froze all of Tom Girardi’s assets, and that means all communal property is frozen too,” the documents state. “Erika Girardi must stop selling her clothes.”

On Wednesday, Jayne promoted her online collection, which is for sale on secondhand site Vestiaire Collective, on Twitter and even offered a 10 percent discount.

The law firm is also requesting that Jayne deposit any money earned from the sales after the freeze was put into place with the court clerk.

Edelson PC sued the estranged couple on behalf of the 2018 Lion Air flight victims earlier this month for allegedly embezzling the funds and attempting to conceal it through their “sham” divorce. Jayne filed for divorce in November after two decades of marriage.

Girardi has been slapped with multiple lawsuits in recent weeks. His law firm partner, Robert Keese, recently sued him to dissolve their other business venture known as 1126 Wilshire Partnership.

He’s also being sued by Wells Fargo Financial Services for allegedly breaching a written agreement and conversation with the bank.

It’s unclear how Girardi, who has testified that he’s broke, will afford any damages he might be ordered to pay.

Tom’s a great attorney — but he’ll have to have one HELL of a legal strategy to get him AND Erika out of this mess unscathed.
