Deezer D, best known for his role as nurse Malik McGrath on “ER” has died.
He was 55.
Deezer, real name Dearon Thompson, was found unresponsive in his home on Thursday morning in L.A.
His brother says his family believes he died of a heart attack, however there is no official cause of death.
Back in 2009, Deezer underwent a 6-hour heart surgery to replace his aorta and fix a heart valve
Aside from being an actor, Deezer was also a motivational speaker and a performer in the Christian and underground hip hop communities.
