Donald Trump Withdraws Steph Curry’s Invitation to the White House After He Says He Doesn’t Want to Go

After blasting the NFL and its players last night, Donald Trump set his sights on the NBA this morning.

He took to Twitter to call out Steph Curry’s ‘hesitation’ when it comes to visiting the White House and rescinded his invitation to do so.

Typically, the championship team will visit the White House in celebration of their win — but Steph doesn’t want to go.

“Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team,” Donald tweeted Saturday morning. “Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!”

Steph, who has long been critical of Trump and his administration, said during a press conference Friday night that he was strongly against heading to D.C. and that he would tell his team as much when they discussed the matter.

“I don’t want to go,” he said bluntly.

In response to Trump snatching Steph’s invite, former White House photographer Pete Souza posted a picture of Steph and President Obama together in the White House last year.

Nice one, Pete.
