President Donald Trump had a complete meltdown during a heated press conference in which he continuously badgered the press. During the exchange, he asked veteran African-American journalist April Ryan if she could help set up a meeting between him and the Congressional Black Caucus, asking her, “Are they friends of yours?”
April, who is currently the White House correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks. Ryan asked the following question:
“Are you going to include the CBC [Congressional Black Caucus], Mr. President, in your conversations with your urban agenda, your inner city agenda, as well as—.”
Donald then cut her off mid-sentence and suggested that she set up the meeting with the CBC.
“Well I would, tell you what, do you want to set up the meeting? Are they friends of yours?” Donald asked. “Let’s go, let’s set up a meeting. I would love to meet with the Black Caucus.”
Yes, Mr. Trump. All Black people know each other. Give us a break.
