Disgusting: Footage Shows Police Officers Manhandling and Exposing a Black Woman's Breast Inside an Alabama Waffle House [Video]

Police officers at an Alabama Waffle House were captured on video wrestling a seated woman to the ground and exposing her breasts during a controversial arrest over the weekend.

Officers in Saraland were captured in a cell phone clip confronting Chikesia Clemons at the breakfast joint, where she repeatedly asked what she had done wrong and objected to police grabbing her.

At one point, she is taken from her chair to the ground by an officer, who then wrestles with her alongside his colleague as her dress slips.

The 25-year-old demands to know what officers are doing.

“I’m about to break your arm, that’s what I’m about to do,” one replies.

Her mother Chiquitta Clemons-Howard told AL.com that the incident started when her daughter objected to being charged extra for plastic silverware, and asked for a manager’s contact information after her order was canceled.

The police arrived while she was waiting, her mother said, ultimately leading to an arrest for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

“The Saraland Police Department is aware of the arrest at Waffle House and the accompanying video on social media. The situation is being thoroughly reviewed and is under active investigation right now. Our department strives for transparency and we encourage our community to be aware of current events,” a statement from police said Sunday.

The confrontation and video comes weeks after two young black men, Donte Robinson and Rashon Nelson, were arrested at a Philadelphia Starbucks shortly after they arrived and just sat down at a table without ordering something.

Those arrests prompted an apology from police and a plan for racial bias training for employees at thousands of Starbucks stores after outraged observers said they were harassed because of their race.

Clemons is black, and the officers who arrested her are white.

Mobile County, Alabama’s NAACP chapter, said in a statement that they were aware of the incident and discussed it at their meeting on Sunday.

Afterwards, at least one person was arrested during a protest at the Waffle House, according to WALA.

Waffle House issued a statement, suggesting the officer’s actions were appropriate.
