A Kansas City woman was arrested and charged with second-degree murder for tracking down and killing the person who took the life of her 16-year-old brother earlier this month. Now, DaBaby and Detroit rapper 42 Dugg have agreed to pool their money to get the young woman out of jail and free on bail.

21-year-old Tityana Coppage is being held on a $200,000 bond in the Jackson County Jail in Kansas City. Meanwhile, on social media, Dugg made a post on IG, saying, “I got 20 thousand if they can get her out on ten percent tell her people get with me.” DaBaby reposted Dugg’s post and said that he’ll match Dugg to help cover the bond for Coppage.

Coppage’s brother, Jason Ugwuh, was a 16-year-old high school junior and basketball star, whose life was taken on January 10 when he was shot and killed. Tityana had previously lost her 8-year-old brother and 9-year-old cousin in 2016 to gun violence when someone shot into their home. No one was arrested or charged in that case.

Coppage is accused of leading the gunman to her victim inside of a parking lot three days following her brother’s murder. According to the police report, Coppage’s brother’s killer was shot in the chest and leg but succumbed to his injuries before paramedics arrived. Coppage confessed to having a shootout with the victim but claimed he shot at her vehicle first, which made her return fire.

If Dugg and DaBaby are serious about their offers to help pay her bail, it shouldn’t take too much more to get her out of jail, especially if anyone else offers to match what they’re willing to contribute.
