Common has a new lady in his life.
According to reports, the 43-year-old rapper is dating 48-year-old actress Laura Dern.
Laura has reportedly already introduced Common to her two children, son Ellery, 14, and daughter Jaya, 11, with a pal adding that the actress is ‘having fun and seeing where things go.’
‘She has a thing for musicians,’ the source told the publication, and is happily pursuing romance three years following her split from ex-husband and blues singer Ben Harper.
Common has enjoyed a few successes in his career including an Oscar last year for his song Glory from the film Selma.
He is also a dad – to 18-year-old Omoye Assata Lynn, from a previous relationship – which should please Dern.
The couple was all smiles as they were spotted enjoying dinner at Beverly Hills eatery Bouchon on January 14.
