Colin Kaepernick’s Attorney Slams Jay-Z’s NFL Partnership as ‘Cold Blooded’

Colin Kaepernick’s attorney Mark Geragos criticized Jay-Z’s newly announced Roc Nation and NFL deal while speaking to ABC News.

“This deal between Jay-Z and the NFL crosses the intellectual picket line,” Geragos said. The attorney, who also called the deal “cold-blooded,” said that Kaep wasn’t informed about it. “I can confirm to you that the deal was already done prior to any conversation that [Kaepernick] had with Jay-Z and he certainly didn’t have any conversations with the NFL,” Geragos explained.

It doesn’t look like the controversy surrounding this deal is dying down anytime soon.
