Chrisette Michele Attempts to Defend Her Decision to Perform for Donald Trump on 'The Breakfast Club' [Video]

Chrisette Michele stopped by ‘The Breakfast Club’ to talk about the backlash following her performance at Donald Trump’s inaugural ball.

During the lengthy sit down, Chrisette says she didn’t get paid $250,000 (despite reports) and that she truly believes she now has the ear of important political figures so that she can help bring about change.

“I knew that people wouldn’t understand. I refer to myself as a wolf in sheep’s clothing, but really, I was a sheep in wolf’s clothing. I was as afraid as we all are right now, knowing that I had to put on some kind of armor. I call it the armor of god. That’s why I went there and sang gospel,” she said.

Let’s not forget that Donald Trump didn’t even take the time to meet her at any time before OR after she performed for him.
