Charlamagne tha God has ‘Potential Deals’ if he Exits ‘The Breakfast Club’

As radio superstar Charlamagne tha God decides whether to quit his hit show when his contract expires at the end of the year, an insider tells Page Six that he already has “a lot of other potential deals in the air.”

“The Breakfast Club” — the Power 105.1 show he hosts with DJ Envy and Angela Yee — has become not just a magnet for hip-hop’s biggest stars, but it has become so influential that NBC has called it “a crucial stop for 2020 Democrats.”

But Charlamagne, who founded the show in 2010, has been musing on-air about moving on, going so far as to say he’s “mentally quit” the show a lot.

“He loves working for [Power 105.1 parent company] I Heart Radio, but he is contemplating his next move,” the source told us.

“He’s not sure what he is going to do,” said the insider. “There are a lot of potential deals in the air, and he just wants to keep his options open and think strategically.”

His contract is up in December.
