Regé-Jean Page came to play in his inaugural Saturday Night Live hosting gig. The breakout ‘Bridgerton ‘star is definitely capitalized on the success of Netflix’s blockbuster period romance drama.
Of course, we got nods to his smoldering work on “Bridgerton,” but Regé-Jean also showed impressive range and solid comedic timing.
To start, Page jokingly referred to “Bridgerton” as “the show that made everyone turn to their moms and say, ‘You know what, never mind, I don’t think we should watch this together.’”
After shaking off some nerves in the opening monologue, Regé-Jean settled in for a very fun night of laughs both live and pre-recorded. Check out some of his skits below.
