It hasn’t even opened up in the United States, but The Avengers is set to dominate the box office and smash records! It’s on track to become the most successful film produced by Marvel Studios, beating out the $623 million worldwide gross of Iron Man 2.
Internationally, the film has earned an impressive $218 million in its first six days of release. This upcoming Thursday marks the release of the film domestically, which is expected to earn upwards of $150 million based on pre-release tracking. Some are estimating the film will end the weekend with a global gross between $500 and $600 million.
