BET is hoping to recreate the success of 2016’s The New Edition Story by producing a miniseries about New Edition’s resident bad boy Bobby Brown.
From the team behind “The New Edition Story,” the two-night, four-hour biopic [“The Bobby Brown Story”] spans Brown’s career as a founding member of New Edition to a successful solo run. Written by Abdul Williams (“The New Edition Story”) and executive produced by Jesse Collins (“The New Edition Story”) for JCE Films, a division of Jesse Collins Entertainment.
