Donald Trump claims to have Black supporters — but apparently seeing a Black person at one of his rallies is so rare that his camp automatically assumes they’re all protestors.
C.J. Cary, a Black man and claimed Trump supporter, attended a Trump rally in North Carolina in hopes to urge Trump to be less offensive and more inclusive to four demographic groups: Black people, women, people with disabilities and college students.
As he tried to get Trump’s attention, the presidential nominee called C.J. a ‘thug’ before having him thrown out of the rally. Trump assumed he was a protestor.
