BET continues to ramp up its original programming following its record-smashing New Edition miniseries last year.
Along with a series based on rapper Nas’ life, the network will also produce a miniseries chronicling the rise and fall of Death Row Records.
According to Billboard, the limited series, titled Death Row Chronicles, will consist of six hour-long episodes and is set to begin production this spring for a 2018 premiere.
