BET Issues an Apology to Nicki Minaj and Her Fans: ‘This Should Have Never Happened’

Nicki Minaj went on a social media rampage against BET after someone at the network fired off a shady post in the aftermath of Cardi B’s Grammy win — and now the network is apologizing.

Not only did Nicki take her frustrations to social media, but she also canceled her upcoming headlining show at this year’s BET Experience.

BET Networks issued a statement praising Nicki for her career and apologizing for the post that set the rapper off.
