August Alsina spoke with Hot 97’s Morning Show and was asked to address the 106 & Park controversy. Instead of popping off again, he partially owned up to the situation and shared his point of view.

He says he returned to BET and had a conversation with Keisha Chante about not meaning to disrespect her, but that he doesn’t regret saying what he said because that’s how he felt.

Ebro tells August that the entire incident was his fault because he’s the one who told the world about his beef with Trey Songz in the first place, and August agreed, saying that it’s just a part of him growing in the industry.

“It’s all a part of me growing. I speak from my heart, I got a big fuckin’ mouth. I don’t know how to change that. In all reality, what I said was never to belittle or cause a problem,” August said. “I’m the idiot because its like I said what I said thinking maybe if I say this these niggas won’t ask me about it. With these interviews they put what they want to put up.”

He also says that he and Trey are cool now. Watch the interview below!
