Apple Music Will Now Pay Artists During Their Free Trial Period, Thanks to Taylor Swift

Behold the power of Taylor Swift!

This morning, Taylor published an open letter blasting Apple Music for refusing to pay artists, songwriters, and publishers during the service’s three-month free trial period.

In a tweet this evening, Apple’s senior vice president of internet services and software Eddy Cue wrote that Apple Music has changed course and will now pay everyone appropriately during customers’ free 90-day period.
