Angelina Jolie has confirmed that she’s set to star as Cleopatra in an upcoming film headed to the big screen.
“We’ve been working on it … there’s been lots of different ideas of directors and lots of different discussions … the script has been written,” she told BBC Radio 5 Live while promoting her current film, Maleficent.
Rumors of Angie playing Cleopatra have been around for years — but it looks like the time has finally come. There aren’t many more details about the film at the moment, but we’ll definitely keep you posted.
