It’s been confirmed that singing sensation Adele will be performing at the 85th annual Academy Awards, and she will be singer her Oscar-nominated song, “Skyfall.” This will be the singer’s first televised performance since she triumphantly performed her hit song “Rolling In The Deep” at last year’s Grammy ceremony. Adele expressed her gratitude for being nominated by saying:

It’s an honor to be nominated and terrifyingly wonderful to be singing in front of people who have captured my imagination over and over again, It’s something I’ve never experienced and probably only ever will once!

The Academy Awards air on February 24th on ABC.

In other Adele news, it’s been reported that the singer accidentally revealed the name of her son by wearing a necklace with his name.

The 24-year-old singer told People magazine she wasn’t sharing her son’s name because it is “very personal” to her, but photos of the new mom wearing a gold necklace that spells out the name “Angelo” may have given it away. Adele was spotted wearing the telling jewelry as she left high-end West Hollywood baby boutique Bel-Bambini.

A source told the U.K. paper The Sun that those close to the singer have indeed been told the baby’s name is Angelo, but they aren’t sure of the significance of the name.

“She’s wanted to keep it quiet but it was always going to come out sooner or later,” the source said. “Wearing an Angelo necklace not only backs up what is being said, it suggests she’s not worried about people finding out.”
