Adele Explains What Went Wrong with Her Performance at the Grammys Last Night: ‘Sh*t Happens’ [Video]

Adele’s performance of her song “All I Ask” at The Grammys was a little…off.

We’re all used to Adele delivering pitch-perfect vocals backed by flawless instrumentation — but last night that didn’t happen.

Throughout the performance a bizarre guitar-like sound came through the speakers and Adele’s pitch wavered. A few lines in and it was easy to see something was going wrong.

Adele took to Twitter after the show to address the issue.

The piano mics fell on to the piano strings, that's what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune. Shit happens. X
