Actor Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister, known by many as the man who played ‘Deebo’ in the hit ‘Friday’ franchise, has died. He was 62.
According to law enforcement, they received a call to Tommy’s Marina Del Rey apartment on Thursday afternoon with reports of an unconscious male.
Tommy was not transported to a hospital and was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no word on a cause of death at this time.
Aside from his role as Deebo in ‘Friday,’ he also played President Lindberg in the sci-fi action film, ‘The Fifth Element,’ and more recently appeared in the box office smash hit, ‘The Dark Knight.’
He voiced the character Finnick in ‘Zootopia’ as well.
Prior to his acting career, Tommy was known as then-WWF wrestler Zeus.
