October 17, 2007 Should Ellen DeGeneres Get “Iggy” Back?
I don’t know if you saw Ellen DeGeneres breakdown on her show, pleading with a California dog rescue organization called Mutts and Moms to return an adopted dog she had given to her hairdresser and two girls because it didn’t get along with the cats at the her house. When Ellen adopted a Brussels Griffon mix named “Iggy” she signed papers (though maybe she didn’t read the small print) saying if she can’t keep the dog herself she will return it. Due to Iggy being “rambunctious,” she gives the dog to her friend/hairdresser and her family. Mutts and Moms calls Ellen two weeks later to check on the dog. Ellen decides to tell the truth and the rescue group goes to hairdresser’s house and reclaims the dog. I don’t see why this couldn’t have been settled like adults instead of spoiled children! I mean who’s really thinking about the well being of Iggy, no one. (B. Scott shakes his head!)
And to make matters worst the lawyer for Mutts & Moms dog adoption agency told The Insider that Iggy has been placed in a new home! Well then. Thoughts?
