50 Cent thinks he knows exactly why Empire‘s ratings took a dip during the second episode of the season — and it has something to do with “gay stuff.”
In a now-deleted Instagram post, he re-posted a photo and caption from another page that read:
“There are 3 million less viewers who tuned into last night’s Empire episode!!!! did you watch it? We could not take the extra gay stuff or celebrity stuff last night!!!!”
50 Cent added more thoughts, suggesting that Taraji P. Henson’s Empire character call him for help.
“EMPIRES TV RATINGS TOOK A HUGE HIT. Ok I’ll stop now. COOKIE CALL ME BABY. I’ll tell every body to watch the show for you. LOL,” 50 wrote.
If you’re wondering what ratings dip he’s referring to, Empire‘s season two premiere garnered a massive 16 million viewers, but the season’s second episode dropped to 13.7 million viewers.
We’ll see how the show fares in ratings this week.
