Zendaya Coleman continues to give us more reasons to love her.
The 19-year-old took a public stand against unrealistic body image and called out Modeliste magazine for overly photoshopping a recent photo of her.
When the publication released the images last night, Zendaya noticed that she didn’t quite look like herself. She took to Instagram to share the un-photoshopped version.
She captioned the above photo:
“Had a new shoot come out today and was shocked when I found my 19 year old hips and torso quite manipulated. These are the things that make women self conscious, that create the unrealistic ideals of beauty that we have,” she wrote. “Anyone who knows who I am knows I stand for honest and pure self love. So I took it upon myself to release the real pic (right side) and I love it. Thank you @modelistemagazine for pulling down the images and fixing this retouch issue.“
The ironic part is that the ‘real’ pic looks a million times better, don’t you think?
