It’s common knowledge to never take candy from strangers, but 24 people learned the hard way when they ended up in the hospital being treated for drug overdoses.

Officials say 24 people have been treated for drug overdoses at a music festival in Richland County.
None of the people lost consciousness, and all are expected to make a full recovery.

A major with the Richland County Sheriff’s Office told the Mansfield News Journalthat concert-goers were given candy with a “very, very” high dose of THC. The edibles looked like Nerds candy.
EST Fest is taking place at Ohio Dreams, a sports camp facility in Butler. Rapper Machine Gun Kelly, of Cleveland, is scheduled to take the stage Saturday night.
