Yikes! 20-Year-Old Man Stabbed to Death After Threesome Gone Wrong

20-year-old Manos Ikonomidis died as the result of three stab wounds in the chest and back after participating in a threesome with an unidentified woman and 21-year-old Jack Doherty earlier in the day.

The attack came after one of the participants began filming the romp.

“It’s something out of a horror movie,” stunned building resident Carol Petersen, 37, said. “It’s horrible. It’s a nightmare.”

Doherty was being questioned by police, but was not a suspect in the slaying, sources said.

Detectives were also questioning a man at the 72nd Precinct stationhouse early Tuesday, police said.

Police sources said the ménage à trois in Doherty’s apartment came to a violent end when one of the guys started filming the tryst. The woman became irate.

Doherty drove the woman — whose name was not available — back to her Staten Island home, leaving Ikonomidis alone, sources said.

A resident in the building said the woman contacted her boyfriend — who was not involved in the threesome — and alleged she’d been raped.

Ikonomidis’ girlfriend — who also was not involved in the sex play — received an ominous Instagram message reading “your boyfriend f—-d up and will be taken care of,” sources said.

Police sources said cops had found no evidence the encounter was anything but consensual.

Around the time Doherty returned to the apartment, three men arrived at the building. They had revenge on their minds, sources said.

Surveillance cameras captured two white men and a black man chasing Ikonomidis with baseball bats as he tried to leave the building, sources said. Ikonomidis was beaten with bats and stabbed, the sources said.

Bleeding from his wounds, the victim knocked on the door of Joy Liguori’s nearby apartment and collapsed, leaving bloody handprints.

“I saw the blood. It was out on the couch. That’s when I told him, ‘God, honey, you’re bleeding.’ He goes, ‘They stabbed me! They stabbed me twice! They stabbed me!’” she recalled.

A relative of Liguori’s, Lynne Moeser, said Ikonomidis was “gushing” blood.

“He says, ‘They hit me in the head, they hit my head with a bat,’” Moeser said.

Liguori, 74, ignored Ikonomidis’ requests not to call 911. Among the last words he said to her were: “I’m so sorry.”

Ikonomidis, of Gravesend, died at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn at 4:33 a.m.

Residents at the building had to hop over a blood-stained rug in the hall. Police took an aluminum baseball bat labeled “Magnum” into evidence.

No suspects were in custody, sources said.

Doherty appeared devastated as he left the building with cops.

“Jack was crying. He had his head down,” a neighbor said.

Liguori couldn’t shake Ikonomidis’ final moments.

“I didn’t do enough, I didn’t save him,” she said.

“I feel so guilty. I don’t know why. I did try. He’s a baby.”

Ikonomidis’ girlfriend arrived at the crime scene hours after the killing.

“Oh, my God, no! My baby, it can’t be f—ing real!” she cried.

“(Why) didn’t you go home? Why didn’t you listen to me? … He better go to f—ing jail! (Will) you guys get him please? … My baby, my baby, I love you so much.”

Neighbors of Ikonomidis were stunned.

They said he often stayed with his girlfriend instead of the home he shared with his mother, stepfather and young stepsister. They said he was courteous and had dreamed of a career in the music business.

“I’m in total shock. He was such a nice boy,” downstairs neighbor Maria Brancaleone, 54, said. “Beautiful boy — always tried to help you out when you needed it.”

We’re sorry for Manos’ family, but we’re also sorry for his girlfriend. Having to find out your boyfriend was stabbed to death after having a threesome with another woman has to be difficult.
