Willow Smith is talented. She’s had a string of releases since “Whip My Hair,” all of which have shown tremendous artistic growth, but this latest release makes us question whether there might be too much growth too fast for a 12-year-old.

“Drowning” is an emotional ballad with dark lyrics that you would expect from someone who’s…older.
