CNN made a bit of an on-air blunder on Saturday, and surprisingly it had nothing to do with Don Lemon.
The network spent an entire segment talking about what it called “an ISIS flag among a sea of rainbow colors” during their coverage of the annual gay pride march in London.
CNN International correspondent Lucy Pawle even went on air to describe the flag and said it was “an attempt to mimic the ISIS flag, the black-white flag with distinctive lettering” — and that was after she reported the flag to police.
The problem is that the flag had absolutely nothing to do with ISIS and the ‘distinctive lettering’ wasn’t actually lettering at all — it was a bunch of dildos and sex toys.
A dildo flag at a gay pride parade? Quick — someone call the FBI!
