Wendy Williams production company is offering Wendy their ‘deepest condolences’ as it was announced she’ll be taking time off to ‘travel and be with her family.’

“The Wendy Williams Show will air repeats to allow Wendy to travel and be with her family at this time,” a statement from production reads.

It continues, “The show will return with original episodes on Monday, January 4th. Debmar-Mercury extends its deepest condolences to Wendy and her family.”

The statement comes after Wendy Williams confirmed news that her mother, Shirley Williams, passed away.

On her show, Wendy shared that her mother passed away “many, many, many, many weeks ago,” however her brother, Tommy Williams, shared that their mother passed away “last Sunday.”
