Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” is taking over.
Not only is the song sitting at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, but Cardi’s banger is SO popular that teachers are using it to help educate the kids.
Brooklyn educator Erica Buddington shared a video earlier this week of herself rapping “Bodak Yellow” with a geographic twist to her 6th grade class at Capital Prep Harlem — the school that was opened by Diddy last year.

Erica took it a step further and shared the lyrics to the song AND some notes about its positive reception.
For the folks that are asking for the lyrics. Educators we should always share the wealth. #culturallyrelevantteaching pic.twitter.com/Ecys9k7D27

Students received the lyrics yesterday at the end of class. They knew the entire song by this morning.

Today during dismissal, the entire school was singing this version.

It wasn’t long before Cardi B herself caught wind of Erica’s remix.
