Randall Margraves, the father of three gymnast daughters who were victimized by disgraced former Team USA doctor Larry Nassar, acted out in a fit of rage and tried to attack the doctor in a Michigan courtroom.
Just moments prior, Randall asked Judge Janice Cunningham if she’d grant him ‘five minutes alone with that demon’ as part of Larry’s sentencing.
When the judge declined, Randall charged at the convicted serial sexual predator. He was blocked by Larry’s attorney, Matthew Newburg, and restrained before deputies escorted him from the courtroom.
As he was being taken into custody, Randall said, “I want that son of a bitch. Give me one minute with that bastard.”
Judge Cunningham warned those in the room against reacting in a similar manner moving forward, but noted that she understood the father’s struggle.
“If it is difficult for me to hear what his daughters have to say, I can’t imagine what it is like for a parent,” she said.
Randall has been released and won’t be charged with a crime.
