Don’t bring professional recording equipment to an Adele show (or any show, really) or she’ll call you out.
One fan found out the hard way. Her video recording was so obtrusive that Adele put her on blast in the middle of her performance.
“Yeah I want to tell that lady as well, can you stop filming me with a video camera? Because I’m really here in real life. You could enjoy it in real life,” she said to the woman. The audience erupted with applause. “Can you take your tripod down?” she continued. “This isn’t a DVD, this is a real show, and I’d really like you to enjoy it because there’s lots of people outside who could have come in.”
You know, a few snapshots and quick video of a song or two is fine — but hauling in a tripod to a live show IS a bit disrespectful.
