Lifetime has released the trailer for the upcoming ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ documentary.

The docuseries will delve deep into the allegations of multiple woman who accuse the singer of sexually, mentally, and physically abusing them.

The series is set to trace the singer’s past from 1970 up to the present. According to Rolling Stone, it will feature 50 interviews, with commentary from notables like: Tarana BurkeWendy Williams, and John Legend. Also set to talk to the cameras are Kelly’s brothers Carey and Bruce, his ex-girlfriend Kitti Jones, and his ex-wife Andrea.

The docuseries was first announced in a statement in May. “Some very brave black women have trusted us with their stories, their truth and their trauma,” said executive producer Dream Hampton. “They are survivors, and I’m honored to share their stories with the world.”

The six-hour series is set to be shown in three parts very early next year on Thursday, January 3 at 9 p.m. ET/PT; Friday, January 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT; and Saturday, January 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
