Tory Lanez was a surprise guest at DaBaby’s Rolling Loud performance on Sunday night and was seen backstage at the same time as Megan — despite the “WAP” rapper’s restraining order against him, multiple sources confirmed to Page Six.

However, Lanez’s attorney, Shawn Holley, exclusively told us on Wednesday that her client — whose real name is Daystar Peterson — did not violate the terms of the order.

“Though they both performed at the same music festival, Mr. Peterson went out of his way to ensure that he would not cross paths with Ms. Peete or otherwise violate the terms of the protective order,” she said.

Megan, 25, was granted a restraining order against the “Say It” rapper in October 2020, three months after Lanez, 29, allegedly shot the Houston rapper in the back of the foot. The protective order also prevents Lanez from commenting on the shooting.

Although the alleged shooting incident has not been legally resolved yet, the court has ordered Lanez to stay at least 100 yards away from Megan. He was also required to turn in any guns he owns.

Page Six can confirm that both the Miami Police Department and Los Angeles District Attorney’s office were notified of the possible violation of Megan’s protective order.

Lanez’s surprise appearance comes just one month after Megan and DaBaby, 29, had a heated exchange on Twitter after the “BOP” rapper retweeted a joke apparently supporting Lanez.

Megan unfollowed DaBaby on Instagram that same week, suggesting the pair’s relationship isn’t as close as it used to be.

Fans on Twitter speculated after the news broke that DaBaby may have been a “CryBaby” about the situation and brought out Lanez to spite Megan.

“Tory Lanez was NOT booked at Rolling Loud as a paid performer,” one person tweeted. “He wasn’t ‘working.’ Which is why he didn’t have his own set. He was brought on stage by DaBaby to spite Meg.”

In February, Lanez was denied the right to speak publicly about the alleged shooting after filing a request asking for the clause in Megan’s restraining order to be amended.

He pleaded not guilty to one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.

A rep for Megan did not immediately return our request for comment.

It’s unclear when Tory’s next court date in this case will be.
