Ciara sang the National Anthem last night during the national Championship game between University of Alabama vs. Clemson.
Dear Ciara. You're stunning. But this is a National Championship Game. Kids are watching. Cover up.

It all started when former ESPN reporter Bonnie Bernstein tweeted about Ciara’s low plunging dress — saying, “Dear Ciara. You’re stunning. But this is a National Championship Game. Kids are watching. Cover up.”
Then, another former ESPN personality chimed in.
Appropriate, fair tweet. The dress was inappropriate. Her voice was more than enough. Why distract w/nudity? https://t.co/Fv93ioO7TM

I'm 100 percent serious. I'm not a prude. Love nudity. Not at national champ game. Inappropriate. https://t.co/LoTzEqBQQJ

On the other side, Ciara drew support from BFF LaLa Anthony and her man Russell Wilson.

Some people accused Bonnie of criticizing Ciara because she’s black , but Bernstein responded saying that’s not the case.
Truly am amazed at how people take a tweet (that includes a compliment!) & wanna make it about race. Seriously. Grow up. Watch the game.

As for Ciara’s response, she seems rather unbothered.
Grateful. What A Special Moment. #NationalChampionship #BamavsClem pic.twitter.com/LJgFdF4RfO

We thought Ciara’s gown was gorgeous.
