Tiffany Haddish Talks Sexual Harassment in Comedy: ‘Everybody Wanted to Get in My Panties’

Tiffany Haddish spoke with People magazine about her new book, ‘The Last Unicorn,’ in which she details sexual harassment in the comedy world and her own past experiences.

“It seemed like everybody wanted to get in my panties,” she said. It was constant defending and battling. These men will try you every single time.”

While she said ‘these men,’ she did make a note to exclude Kevin Hart — who she says encouraged her while she was homeless.

In her past, Tiffany was molested as a teen by her foster father and suffered a miscarriage after her ex-husband abused her. It’s the strength she developed to overcome those obstacles that helped her navigate the entertainment industry.

“Once they figure out you’re strong and you don’t roll like that, then they start treating you like a colleague,” she said.

Time after time promoters told her “that to get on stage, I had to get on my back.”

Her response? “Hell no!”

That’s right!
