Melissa Rivers took a moment from behind the scenes of today’s post-Oscars ‘Fashion Police’ taping to offer a thinly-veiled response to comments NeNe Leakes made during our exclusive interview with the reality star last week.
If you missed it, NeNe spoke out on her experience on set as a Fashion Police panelist. She told lovebscott.com,
“It’s very weird. Let me tell you what happens — when you arrive on set, everybody goes to their dressing rooms. When they say ‘come out’, everyone comes out and sits on the couch. There’s no talking, no communication, nothing.
My dressing room isn’t even on the same side as everyone else. They have my dressing room way on the other side from everybody. So I don’t even see them.
I just come and sit down. Whenever they say, ‘Come and sit down, NeNe’, I come and sit down. I don’t move until they say ‘Wrap!’ and then I get up and leave. They don’t talk. No one talks between moments, really. There might be a little casual chit-chat like ‘I like your shoes,’ or something but no conversation. It’s really weird.”
Today, a video was shared via the official Fashion Police Instagram account showing the hosts “having fun.” NeNe isn’t co-hosting the Fashion Police Oscars special because she had a previous engagement.
“Hey! We are on set, we are having so much fun — see, look! This is fun! This is fun!” said Melissa as Brad and Margaret looked at something on Brad’s phone.

Melissa also made it a point to mention how much fun she’s having with the hosts in a separate post featuring a photo of just her and Brad.
