So Sad: Celine Dion’s Brother Daniel Passes Away Just Two Days After Husband René Angélil

We knew it would be a matter of ‘hours,’ but we’re sad to report that Céline Dion’s brother Daniel has died after losing his battle with cancer.

His death comes two days after the death of Céline ‘s husband and long-time manager, René Angélil, after a long battle with throat cancer.

Daniel was one of the 14 Dion siblings and the eighth child born to Thérèse et Adhémar Dion.

 

Daniel Dion’s funeral is scheduled to take place at St-Simon-et-Jude de Charlemagne church in Repentigny, Que.
