About 3 grams of marijuana were recovered, police said. The officer who initiated the traffic stop saw someone in the Bentley toss the drugs out of the car’s window.

“The vehicle pulled to the shoulder but continued rolling a short distance,” Atlanta police spokesman Officer Lisa Bender told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “While it was rolling, the officer observed an item be thrown out of the passenger window.”

Jacquees, whose legal name is Rodriquez Broadnax, reportedly admitted to the officer he tried to dispose of the marijuana, police said. He was taken into custody without incident on charges of speeding, reckless driving, littering and possession of a controlled substance.

His passenger, 23-year-old Stanesha Boutwell, was arrested on a possession charge.

“A search of the vehicle uncovered more marijuana in possession of the passenger,” Bender said.

Jacquees, 24, is best known for the 2016 single “B.E.D.,” which spent 7 weeks on the Billboard charts.

A Decatur native, he has collaborated with T.I., Chris Brown, Rich Homie Quan and others.

He’s lucky police pulled him over for going that fast before he got into an accident.
