[UPDATED] Scary: August Alsina Collapses On Stage During Concert in NYC [Video]

August Alsina was performing earlier this evening in New York City when all of a sudden he collapsed into the crowd.

According to witnesses, things were going smoothly — August was just walking across the stage when his body went limp and he hit the ground.

He appeared to be out cold when security guards carried him backstage.

Paramedics have arrived and it’s unclear if he’s being transported to the hospital.

UPDATE:

Witnesses say August was taken out on a stretcher, but was alert enough to wave to fans on the way out. It’s unclear what his condition is now. We’ve called his reps … so far, no word back.
