What in the world is going on here?
We’re used to young celebrities feuding on social media, but we don’t think we’ve ever seen R&B legends and veterans take it to the streets… until now.
R&B singer Cheryl Lynn, best known for her hit record Got to Be Real, had choice words for Anita Baker after discovering that the R&B legend had blocked her on Twitter. Eek!
As you’ll see below, Cheryl was pretty upset.
Anita then let Cheryl know just how unbothered she was.
And of course Cheryl responded.
And then Anita hit Cheryl with another two subtweets.
And then in a surprise twist, Jennifer Holliday (And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going) stepped in to calm the ladies!
Lord have mercy. We’re actually impressed that these women have mastered social media and its lingo, but we hope they call one another and work things out.
On a related note, Anita Baker is quite fond of her block button. As it was revealed during this week’s episode of ‘The B. Scott Show,’ Anita and B. Scott had a semi-awkward run in at Mariah Carey’s show in Las Vegas. It was then that B. discovered Anita Baker had blocked him on Twitter.
