In a bizarre medical case, a 38-year-old woman was suffering from weight loss, incontinence, and lethargy which sent her to the emergency room.
It was there that surgeons discovered she had a sex toy inside of her vagina. A sex toy that had been there for 10 years.
She recalled using the toy with her partner one drunken night and that she couldn’t remember whether she removed it or not.
Obviously not.
The surgeons at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary removed the five-inch toy, reporting that it had caused the woman near-life-threatening damage.
The misplaced toy caused a condition called vesicovaginal fistula — an abnormal tract that allows urine to flow into the vagina. She also had an obstructive uropathy, which causes urine to become backed up in the kidneys.
Ladies, do yourselves a favor and remember to put away your toys!
