Kazakhstan-based bodybuilder, Yuri Tolochkom and his girlfriend, Margo, are engaged and plan to get married just eight months after their relationship began.

The proposal comes after Tolochko took Margo to undergo cosmetic surgery to address some insecurities about her looks that arose when he showed her off during media appearances.
“She began to develop a complex,” Tolochko said, per the New York Post. “When I presented her photo to the world, there was a lot of criticism and she began to develop a complex, so we decided to have plastic surgery.”
“She has changed a lot,” Tolochko added. “At first, it was hard to accept but I got used to it later on.”
The couple first met at a bar when, as Tolochko recalls, he rescued Margo from a young man who was treating her wrong. The two have been inseparable ever since even as Margo has tried carve out a life of her own. Tolochko revealed she recently landed a waitressing job at a local bar.
“She can’t walk by herself — she needs help,” Tolochko said of the limitations facing his bride-to-be, who also cannot cook.
