Dorsey’s social media note to the “Glee” star — who tragically drowned last July during a boating trip with Josey — said that the 5-year-old is comforted by the fact that “he’ll see you again.”

“He’s doing ok,” Dorsey, 38, wrote on Instagram over the weekend. “He’s such a resilient strong kid. He misses you but knows he’ll see you again, and the invisible string is something that’s helped us out during this ever-evolving transition of your time with us on earth that was unfairly & for reasons we’ll never understand cut short…too soon…”

The “Big Sky” actor, who was married to Rivera from 2014 to 2018, said that although it’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since her death, Josey “has grown so much.”

“He’s such an explorer, so inquisitive. He’s sweet, so funny, and his laugh always lights up the room,” Dorsey wrote.

He said Rivera can also “Fly high, Rest In Peace, knowing he’s doing ? ok…he’s being raised right, and he’s got a lot of family and people around him that love him, and you. ????.”

Rivera’s sister, Nickayla, moved in with Dorsey shortly after the star’s death to help raise Josey — a choice he defended after “absurd narratives” about the nature of their relationship started.

Last month, several of Rivera’s “Glee” stars marked the first anniversary of her death with tributes and shows of rememberance.

Her close friend Heather Morris got a tattoo with the phrase “Tomorrow is not promised” — which came from one of Rivera’s final tweets — on her left arm.

“I’m so grateful GOD LAYED A HAND and brought us together as best friends, mom friends, scene partners, and everything in between,” she wrote in a social media tribute.

Co-stars including Matthew Morrison, Jenna Ushkowitz and Kevin McHale also posted tributes to Rivera, who played Santana Lopez on the show.

Rivera was reported missing on July 8, 2020 after her son was found alone on a pontoon on Southern California’s Lake Piru with the actress nowhere in sight. A days-long search came to a sad end on July 13 when her body was found and she was confirmed dead.

She was 33 years old.

Sending continued healing energy to Naya’s love ones.
